PlayStation Now July lineup looks promising

According to various reports, Sony are removing PlayStation Now retail cards from stores in the UK, which suggests that the announcement of Spartacus service could be imminent.

It looks like an official announcement for Sony's expanded PlayStation Plus service codenamed Spartacus could be imminent. According to reports, the publisher have started to pull the PlayStation Now retail cards from stores in the UK.

Players in the United Kingdom won't be able to buy a subscription to Sony's streaming service PS Now anymore since by January 21, stores will have to pull all retail PS Now cards from their shelves.

In a statement to GamesBeat , Game UK said the following:

"Stores have until the close of day Wednesday 19, January to remove all POS and ESD cards from all customer-facing areas and update their digital bays in line with this week’s upcoming commercial update … ."

Sony PlayStation Experience will feature both big and small games

A couple of weeks ago, we got reports about Sony's brand new subscription service Spartacus which is apparently merging PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus. Spartacus should also offer different tiers at different price points.

This is rumoured to be Sony's answer to Xbox Game Pass, an incredibly popular subscribtion service from Microsoft, available on PC, mobile and Xbox consoles, which includes hundreds of games and most importantly, all first-party games releasing day one.

Sony should reveal more info about Spartacus very soon.
