NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two men beat and stabbed a woman on a Bronx street, leaving her hospitalized, police said Thursday as they released disturbing video of the attack amid a search for the suspects.

The 28-year-old victim was in front of a building on E. 198th Street, near Valentine Avenue, in the Jerome Park section around 5:30 a.m. Sunday when she was attacked by the duo, according to police.

One of the men took out a sharp object and stabbed her multiple times in the back and torso, while the second man punched and kicked her, police said.

The pair then ran off eastbound down E. 198th Street, according to police.

EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the attack are unclear. Police said nothing was stolen from the victim.
