RANDOLPH COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just before 10a.m. Wednesday in Randolph County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Dodge pickup driven by Kevin L. Campbell, 53, Higbee, was eastbound on CR 2795 one half mile South of Clark.

The pickup traveled onto the railroad crossing equipped with a crossing and warning sign. A northbound Norfolk Southern Train struck the pickup.

Campbell and a 9-year-old male passenger in the pickup were pronounced dead at the scene. Randolph Co. Ambulance transported a 12-year-old male passenger to University Hospital. There were no injuries on the train. The occupants of the pickup were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
