Stray Kids, TXT, ENHYPEN and More are the Best-Selling Fourth-Generation K-pop Groups in 2021 - Who Do You Think Ranked First?
On Jan. 7, Gaon Chart released the year-end album chart for 2021, revealing the artists with the most album sales last year. Among the fourth-generation K-pop groups like Stray Kids, TXT, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN and more, who could be the No. 1 best-selling artist?

TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER) is the Third Best-Selling Fourth-Generation K-pop Group in 2021
In 2021, TXT (short for TOMORROW X TOGETHER) made two domestic comebacks with new albums. They dropped their second studio album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" in May, which sold over 877,000 copies in the past months.
In August, TXT released "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE," the repackaged version of "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE." It sold over 775,000 copies, becoming the second best-selling repackaged album on the Gaon Chart in 2021, following NCT Dream's "Hello Future."

Aside from these two albums, TXT's 2020 EP "minisode1: Blue Hour" also recorded sales last year. It sold more than 161,000 copies.
When the three albums' sales are added to the group's other sales in 2021, TXT sold a total of two million units, which makes them the third best-selling fourth-generation K-pop group of 2021.
ENHYPEN is the Second Best-Selling Fourth-Generation K-pop Group in 2021
Belift Lab's first boy group ENHYPEN released several new albums last year as well. In April, the septet's second EP "BORDER: CARNIVAL" arrived, and according to Gaon Chart, the EP sold over 788,000 copies in 2021.
ENHYPEN made another return to the K-pop scene in October, and this time they dropped their first studio album titled "DIMENSION: DILEMMA." This album impressively reached 1.2 million sales last year.

The rookie group's debut album "BORDER: DAY ONE" also sold more copies last year, a total of 189,832 copies were calculated.
Overall, ENHYPEN had 2.1 million total units sold, becoming the second best-selling fourth-generation K-pop group in 2021.
Stray Kids the No. 1 Best-Selling Fourth-Generation K-pop Group in 2021
JYP Entertainment's eight-member boy group Stray Kids made history last year as the first JYP artist to become a million-seller. The octet obtained this title with their second studio album "NOEASY."
In addition to their million-seller album, Stray Kids' holiday single album "Christmas EveL" achieved notable sales despite being released in the latter part of the year particularly on Nov. 29. Gaon Chart revealed that the single album sold over 743,000 copies.

Moreover, the boy group's previous albums "GO LIVE" and "IN LIFE" sold thousands of copies last year. "IN LIFE" sold over 125,000 copies, while "GO LIVE" sold 113,000 copies.
In total, Stray Kids recorded 2.7 million units sold, making the JYP artist the best-selling fourth-generation K-pop group in 2021.
