Apple iPhone 14 Rumored To Be More Expensive Than iPhone 13
Supposedly due to the increase of production costs.
Apple‘s upcoming iPhone 14 series is rumored to cost more than its iPhone 13 predecessor.
According to a leak, Apple is supposedly considering a $100 USD price increase for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The regular iPhone 14 will still be priced at $799 USD — similar to the iPhone 13 — however the iPhone 14 Pro could cost $1,099 USD and the iPhone 14 Pro Max at $1,1999 USD. For comparison, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is currently priced at $1,099 USD while the iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 USD.
“Production costs are increasing and there has to be more than a $100 difference between the 14 Max and the 14 Pro,” the leak shared on Twitter.
The latest rumors have corroborated reports that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a hole-punch camera. “Face ID hardware will be placed under the display. As a reassurance to any concerns, the functionality of these sensors have not been negatively affected by this change,” another leaker shared earlier this year.
