'Street Dance Girls Fighter' PD Thanks BTS for Support and Promoting Korean Dancers Around the World

Recently on January 11, PD (producer-director) Kim Nayeon had an interview to commemorate the successful end of Mnet's all-girls dance survival program, "Street Dance Girls Fighter," which is a spin-off of the highly-popular show, "Street Woman Fighter," which features dancers who are in high school.

During Kim Nayeon's interview, the PD mentioned global superstars BTS, who had shown their support for the show through their personal Instagram accounts.

PD Kim Nayeon said, "It is an honor to have 'Street Dance Girls Fighter' entertain BTS while in self-quarantine after returning from raising national prestige."

PD Kim Nayeon continued to express her gratitude to the group, even mentioning Jungkook who actively showed his support for the show.

"It feels good as a producer to see that Jungkook continued to show his interest in TURNS' (champion dance crew) Jo Nain's Youtube channel by naming it as well," PD Kim Nayeon added.

In addition to thanking BTS for supporting the show, she also thanked the group for their impact in promoting Korean dancers around the world.

"I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to BTS," the PD said.

BTS Shows Support for 'Street Dance Girls Fighter'

Meanwhile, BTS also joined in on the craze for "Street Dance Girls Fighter."

Over on the global fan community platform Weverse, the group's leader RM expressed his disappointment with the elimination of dance crew Amazon in the show's fourth episode, saying, "Oh my Amazon. Sob."

Jungkook had also shared a clip of a scene from the show on his Instagram Stories, adding that the show was really fun.

In addition, Jungkook had also watched the live broadcast of the show's finale, and as soon as the final results were announced, the idol took to his Instagram Stories to congratulate dance crew TURNS, who came out as the champion.

Sadly, RM missed the show's finale, but the rapper shared with fans that he will watch the show the following night, saying, "I missed the show. But I'll definitely see [it] tomorrow. Thank you for your hard work. I enjoyed the quarantine thanks to [the show]."

Following the end of "Street Dance Girls Fighter," TURNS' Jo Nain went onto her Instagram to ask fans what she should name her Youtube channel, to which Jungkook himself had given a suggestion and recommended "Have a good Nain." She eventually named her Youtube channel with Jungkook's suggestion!
