BTS will be the subject of the new webtoon series as part of HYBE’s latest project.
If Japan has manga, South Korea proudly has webtoon. It is a type of digital comic which allows readers to browse stories through their smartphones and other gadgets. Some also refer to it as manhwa or the Korean version of comics.
As more people have been turning to online comic books, HYBE planned to start a webtoon-inspired business to share idol-based novels and stories for fans.
For their first subject, BTS topped the list alongside TXT and ENHYPEN.

BTS Members Are Now Webtoon Characters!
HYBE first unveiled its plans to launch Original Stories in November. At that time, the agency explained that they wanted to utilize their original stories, which would be the new form of intellectual property by the company.
The content on the original stories would be showcased, planned, and developed by HYBE itself. By doing so, the business would expand the idol groups’ content in both music and more media formats.

HYBE will release three Original Stories on January 15-17 through Naver Webtoon’s global service. BTS’ webtoon, titled 7FATES: CHAKO, is set in an urban fantasy area some time in the future. The plotline follows the tale of the Joseon Dynasty’s chakhogapsa, or tiger-hunting officers.
The seven boys are connected by fate in the series, and they are eventually tied together to create the tiger hunting team Chakho.
What 7FATES: CHAKO Would Be All About
Before its official release date, 7FATES: CHAKO’s official social media accounts have been releasing BTS members’ concept photos and teaser videos.
RM plays the role of Do Geon, a crime expert who had a difficult life. Suga is Cein, a character who a tiger almost ate in the past. Jimin plays Haru – a rock that once guarded the gate to the world of the tigers before becoming a human.
V’s character Jooan falls in love with a tiger, while- J-Hope’s Hosu is kidnapped by the same animal. Jungkook, on the other hand, portrays half-human and half-tiger Zeha.
