There was something gnarly you may have noticed flying around El Paso about a week ago on the Eastside. In fact, you may have even had to do a double-take once you first caught a glimpse of it. This is not an ordinary airplane that flies people and their luggage to another city or state.

Besides the flight crew, the Super Guppy is used for hauling exceptionally large cargo components. Now if you have seen the Super Guppy for yourself then you know it somewhat almost resembles a dolphin-like figure.

For example, the YouTube video NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center shared has an up-close and personal look at the Super Guppy above. Now the description of the Super Guppy is no joke since the video above shows it swallowing T-38s before heading for El Paso.

Now that video was shot in 2017 but it is apparent that the Super Guppy flew into El Paso again not that long ago. One El Pasoan Jesse Francojr shared his photos that he snapped of the Super Guppy while it was in El Paso.

In the video above and even the pictures, Jesse Francojr shared of the Super Guppy almost looks like a gigantic metal dolphin. But it is so gnarly how the Super Guppy can haul outsize cargo components.

But if you missed it don't worry just scroll below through the pictures Jesse Francojr shared on the El Paso Photography group on Facebook. Jesse Francojr caught some great shots of the Super Guppy when it was flying high in the El Paso sky.
