The first trailer for new thriller KIMI has just dropped featuring Fantastic Beasts star Zoe Kravitz and Riverdale's Robin Givens.
Directed by Steven Soderbergh and written and produced by David Koepp, the film is set during the COVID-19 pandemic.
KIMI stars Kravitz as Angela Childs, an agoraphobic young tech worker living in Seattle amid the virus.

The trailer begins by asking 'What if every breath, every sound, every moment, was recorded?' as Angela talks to an Alexa-style device named Kimi.
While reviewing a data stream, Angela discovers evidence of a violent crime but is met with resistance and bureaucracy when she tries reporting it to her company.
In the trailer, Angela is seen telling a co-worker that she may have heard a crime on one of the streams but he tells her: "The devices pick up lots of things. Just mark this 'degraded audio' and delete it."
Angela is then heard saying: "I am not capable and you know it. I think a woman might need help. How do I find out who she is?"

As Angela becomes more involved, she realises that in order to help she must face her greatest fear and leave her apartment going out into the city streets, which are filled with protestors after the city council passes a law restricting the movements of the homeless population.
KIMI also stars Rita Wilson, Byron Bowers , Jaime Camil, Erika Christensen, Derek DelGaudio, Charles Halford, Devin Ratray and Jacob Vargas.
The film is set to be released on February 10, 2022 on HBO Max in the US. No UK release date has been announced as yet.
