Simon Cowell’s fiancée Lauren Silverman has a sparkly new accessory to take with her while running errands.
The newly engaged socialite, 44, was spotted wearing her recently gifted, giant diamond ring on her left hand as she stepped out in Malibu on Wednesday.
The massive rock stood out from the rest of Silverman’s low-key look, which consisted of a pair of denim jeans, a white T-shirt, black boots and her hair pulled back.
These are the first shots of Cowell’s fiancée’s engagement ring, and a close-up photo appears to show that it’s oval-shaped.
A source told Page Six earlier this week that Cowell, 62, proposed during a recent family getaway to Barbados, where the former “American Idol” judge owns a home.
The British-born TV personality got down on one knee in front of the couple’s 7-year-old son, Eric, and Silverman’s son from a previous marriage, Adam.
“It was super sweet,” the insider said of the beach proposal, adding, “They’re good together.”
The couple first met in 2004, when Silverman was still married to real estate mogul Andrew Silverman, who was a good friend of Cowell’s.
The Silvermans finalized their divorce in 2013 — the same year Lauren and Cowell went public with their relationship.
The businesswoman and TV producer had a rocky start, but they’ve stayed together for nearly a decade.
However, sources told Page Six earlier on Wednesday that Silverman and Cowell had been in “crisis” recently and the engagement was a last-ditch effort to save their relationship.
“Around Christmas I know that she was talking about it, and he was refusing,” a source told The Post. “They had reached a difficult point in the relationship — you might call it a crisis. There was misery.
“Perhaps she had made it clear that she was not going to stick around unless they got married.”
