Garrettsville family wins Holiday Light Trail contest

A Garrettsville family was one of two winners in The Holiday Light Trail contest sponsored by Vincent Patrick Realty of Garrettsville.

More than 89 houses from around northeast Ohio participated in the contest. Voting was active between Dec. 18-29 and more than 790 votes were cast, with one vote per person.

The home in Garrettsville was decorated by Dave and Rachel Grabowski, who said their favorite part of the holiday season is their time off to enjoy time with their kids,

small trips, light shows and relaxation. 

Rachel is a consumer science teacher for the Crestwood School District. Dave is director of operations at Aqua Doc. The couple won gift cards to The Mill, Shawn's Pub, Garrettsville Main Street Barbershop and tickets for Garrettsville Cinema.

The other winners were David and Rachel Igo of North Benton. They received gift cards to Home Depot and a dining card.
