Cookmate is easily one of the best recipe organizer apps in the Play Store. This app comes with a simple, and yet great-looking UI, that makes finding and saving recipes a treat. You will not only be able to see the recipe itself, with images, but you’ll get detailed instructions on how to make it yourself. The app even comes with search and import features, so you can import your recipes as well, to have everything in one place.
You can actually add your own photos to the app, for some recipes, and even comments, if you’d like. The app, of course, has a sharing function as well. Cookmate even allows you to create shopping lists using your recipe ingredients, and scale the ingredients to serve more or less people, which is an immensely useful feature. Cookmate is also fully compatible with Wear OS watches, by the way. This app used to be called My CookBook, so that’s the name you may remember it by.

You can either download recipes from your favorite websites, or add your own into this recipe manager app. On top of that, a grocery list feature is included as well, as is in many recipe manager apps. You can even automatically combine ingredients for a grocery list, and sort them by aisle as well.
The app even has a ‘Pantry’ feature, which will help you track the ingredients you have at home. There is a ‘Meal Planner’ feature in case you’d like to plan your meals upfront as well. You can even use this app while cooking, to highlight the step you’re currently on, which can be really useful. You can also print recipes from the app, and so much more. This is actually a truly feature-rich app.

It is a really good recipe manager, though. Not only does it offer a really nice-looking UI, but it has all the features you’d expect. The app allows you to import, scan, and save recipes from websites, books, and magazines.
The app has a built-in recipe scanner, so you can easily import recipes from images. Do note that you’re limited to 40 recipes and 5 OCR scans before the app will ask you to pay up. The meal planner feature is included here, and the same goes for the shopping list feature. You can easily search for recipes, and tag your favorite ones. Creating favorite lists is simple, as is sharing recipes. This app is feature-packed. though it’s not exactly entirely free, as already mentioned, especially if you plan on including a ton of recipes in there.

Recipe Keeper has one of the best UIs from all the apps on the list. It’s so easy to use, and includes all the information you may need. This app is not all about the looks, though. Adding recipes is really quick and easy, and you can categorize them by course and category. You can also add photos, and rate your recipes, while creating a favorites list is also not out of the question.
Importing recipes from websites is an option as well, as is scanning them from cookbooks, magazines, and so on. This app also comes with a built-in scanner. You can quickly search for one of the recipes on your list, and sharing recipes is immensely simple too. Sizing up and down recipes based on how many people you’ll serve them for is also available here, as are 25 different color schemes. There are a ton of options included here, including some theming ones.

The design is not only simple and functional, but it’s very eye-pleasing. This app is also one of the highest-rated on the list, as it works great, and it has all the features you may need. You can create your recipe library with ease, and also manage it without a problem.
RecetteTek comes with a built-in search engine which will help you find and import recipes from cooking websites. There are various filters available in the app, including categories, ingredients, tags, and favorites. So, if you set those up properly, you’ll be able to locate your recipes in a jiffy. You can create shopping lists out of recipe ingredients as well, and so much more.

You can even search for recipes based on the ingredients left in your fridge. That way, you can clear out your fridge, and learn a new recipe while you’re at it. This app even allows you to scan ingredients with your phone, and save them in your virtual pantry. You can, of course, save the recipes you find on the side, and organize them in any way you like. Yummly basically offers every single feature you may want from an app of this type, and the main features are completely free. So, trying out this app may not be a bad idea at all.
