Emmerdale will revisit Jamie Tate's exit storyline later this year.
Jamie, played by Alexander Lincoln, made his exit from the village late last year after accidentally driving his car into a lake.
His fate was left uncertain for several weeks and was presumed dead, before it was revealed he was actually alive. He reunited with his daughter Millie far away from his scheming mother Kim Tate (Claire King) and the Dales.

Kim still thinks her son is dead, and producer Laura Shaw suggested to Digital Spy and other media last month that she will find out the truth.
"Up at Home Farm, we know that Jamie Tate is actually still alive, so obviously that info is still to come out. And what will Kim do once she knows?" she said.
"We know what a tough cookie Kim is, but we also know that Jamie is her Achilles' heel, so we can expect huge fireworks if she ever finds out how much he has betrayed her."
There's no confirmation on whether viewers can expect to see the actor return on screen as Jamie.

Other storylines happening this year include the arrival of Pierce Harris' son Marcus Dean, played by Darcy Grey, and three weddings being planned.
A character will be welcoming a baby as well, with producer Jane Hudson adding: "I think that's not giving anything away as there are so many female characters in the show, but there will be a new arrival before the year is out."
And it looks like Meena Jutla may be getting her comeuppance in the near future.
The soap celebrates its 50th anniversary this October.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
