No piece of media defines the fashion and beauty of this decade quite like Euphoria. Social media has kept its grip on trends tight and, unlike the days of Gossip Girl and Sex and the City, these days, TV and film imitate the style of Instagram. That’s all thanks to Euphoria’s lead makeup designer Donni Davy

Donni has turned into something of a star herself, at least in the beauty world. If you know #euphoriamakeup, you know Donni and her team, even if not by name. The HBO show just returned for its second season, and high school is still just a place to go — first period is self-expression, second period is eye-rolling.

We are only one episode in, but #euphoriamakeup didn’t let us down. Within a day of the episode airing, the good and eager citizens of the Internet populated our feeds with recreations. Two of the most talked-about eye looks belonged to hot girls Cassie and Maddy. On Instagram, Donni, who shared a handful of the looks created by fans, hinted at the idea the two looks were designed as foils to one another: Maddy’s sharp and cutting and Cassie’s innocent and twinkly.

Donni gave some insight into Cassie’s look on Instagram, mentioning the contrast with Maddy’s. The rhinestone wings almost give her eyes this fairy-like effect we see often on K-pop idols. Donni also said that the idea with Sydney Sweeny’s character is to give her lips that nervously bitten, freshly-made-out-with feel, plus “her anxiety-terrified-totally-freaked-out eyes are framed by this delicate, like innocent, twinkle.”

Creator @graciebeae posted a stunning recreation of Cassie’s look on their Instagram. They didn’t share which products they used exactly, but it seems like the smaller the rhinestones the better. Additionally, you’ll need a brush of soft pink eyeshadow, like this one from ColourPop

Maddy’s look is such an early '00s nostalgia hit. The frosty, cool eyeshadow wash with sharply-outlined eyes and a brown lip-liner? I mean! And on Alexa Demie, it looks incredible: intimidating, rude, and stunning. “@alexademie took the lead on her own makeup designs,” Donni shared on Instagram. “She came into the makeup trailer with established and well-thought-out ideas for her looks, with her own character backstories.”

Creator Kaja Wawer posted a full-glam recreation of Maddy’s iconic party look. You can recreate the look with NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner in Cold Brew, NARS Single Eyeshadow in Banquise, and the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner.

TikTok user @jenna.tex went the extra mile and not only recreated Maddy's impeccable makeup but also DIYed her own dress. 10s all across.

Jules had a Black Swan-esque aura with her eye makeup. Hunter Schafer’s character hardly ever wears traditional glam — her complexion was kept pretty simple with striking eyes. A seemingly simple wash of shimmer across the lids and a bird-like double wing in the tear-ducts.

Creator Rocio Cervantes’ line precision is exactly what was needed to recreate this look. She didn’t list exactly which products she used, but a pairing like the Stila Diamond Dust eyeshadow and Maybelline Eye Studio Master would be perfect.

Last but not least we have Kat, who always brings the heat. Barbie Ferreira posted her look from the first episode of season two to Instagram ahead of the premiere. It was a peacocky, watercolory teal and yellow look with beautiful, nude glossy lips.

Creator Isabelle Kate showed her recreation of the look on Instagram. She used products like Makeup Revolution Matrix Palette and Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lip liner and simply nailed it.
