NFL Insider and former player Ross Tucker talks about Brian Flores being fired in Miami saying, “Yeah, I mean shocked. That was the one I was not expecting at all.”
What has been fan reaction? Tucker says, “I have several bbuddies that tell me that this is the most upset Dolphins fans have been in a long time.”
He goes on about the fans reaction to Flores being fired saying, “The one thing they felt good about, they got rid of.”
He feels maybe the organization could have gotten ahead of the situation saying, “If they were smart they would try to leak stuff early to get a feel for what fans think.”
Tucker says the situation with Flores and the front office must have been terrible claiming, “If they fired him despite the success he had, it must have been really bad.”
What rubbed management the wrong way? Tucker wonders, “Sounds like Flores was making power struggle moves.”
When interviewing new coaches will they be all in on Tua as quarterback? Tucker says, “Everyone of these guys will go in there and sing the praises of Tua like you would not believe.”
Coach interviews in Miami and the team’s future should be interesting.
