ROCHESTER, Mich. - Alleged Oxford High School shooting suspect, 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley is back in court Wednesday.
The suspect was arraigned in Oakland County's Circuit Court.
Crumbley on behalf of his court appointed attorney, Paulette Michael Loftin entered a plea of Not Guilty.
The judge saying a status conference will be held on January 19 which will set a date for the new date for the hearing.
Judge Kwame Rowe, saying they spoke at length before Wednesdays arraignment because there was concern about Rowe being a former assisting prosecuting attorney in the Oakland County Prosecutor's office.
They attorneys say they agreed there would be no conflict of interest and agreed for the judge to continue to preside over the case.
Not-guilty plea entered for teen in Michigan school shooting
Crumbley's attorneys on Friday waived his preliminary examination, moving the case toward trial. Through defense attorney Paulette Michel Loftin, Crumbley stood mute Wednesday and entered a plea of not guilty.
On Friday, the 15-year-old waived his right to a preliminary examination in District Court.
His case now moves to Circuit Court for trial.
Crumbley faces 24 charges.
On November 30, the 15-year-old allegedly opened fire and began shooting in his high school.
The suspect allegedly killed four students and shot six other students and one teacher.
The 15-year-old is currently held in Oakland County Jail after being removed from Children's Village, he is being held without bond.
