Nintendo Switch Online Adds New Batch of Retro Games
Nintendo Switch Online's NES and SNES apps have been updated tonight with a trio of retro games. The Super Nintendo app now has Rival Turf! and Congo's Caper. Meanwhile, the NES app has been updated with Pinball. These aren't nearly as high-profile as many of the other titles available on the service, and a lot of gamers might not have even heard of these games! However, it's nice to see Nintendo is continuing to provide new games for these apps, even as they support the N64 and Sega Genesis apps available through the Expansion Pack.

The third season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian has an official release month. With Star Wars Celebration currently kicking off today, Lucasfilm is providing fans with updates on their favorite stars and streaming series. For instance, Star Wars: Andor announced its release date with its first teaser trailer, and now a month has been announced for when Mando and Grogu will be back in our lives. Instead of premiering at the end of 2022, Season 3 of The Mandalorian will board Disney+ in February 2023, as most likely the first Star Wars series to premiere in the new year.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures Announced for Disney+
A new Star Wars animated series is on the way. On Friday, during Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Lucasfilm officially announced Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, a new animated series that will be set during the newly-explored High Republic era, which takes place centuries before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. According to Lucasfilm, the series will follow a group of Younglings as they study the ways of the Force and become Jedi, and learn compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship. While an exact release date has yet to be announced, we know that it will debut in the spring of 2023 on both Disney+ and the Disney Junior cable block.

Indiana Jones Game from Bethesda Reportedly Not an Xbox Exclusive
The Indiana Jones game from Bethesda and MachineGames may not actually be exclusive to Xbox. In 2021, Bethesda confirmed that it was working on a brand new Indiana Jones game. Indiana Jones hasn't had a game since the LEGO titles made in the early 2010s, but that's not too shocking given there hasn't been a new film in well over a decade. Disney is currently working on a fifth Indiana Jones film, which is expected to probably be the last film in the series for Harrison Ford. Star Wars is ready to bring another original series to life thanks to its most recent order! Following rumors of its announcement, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi has been announced at last. Star Wars Celebration 2022 confirmed as much for fans, and now, netizens are hunting high and low for details on the project. At the official panel came word that the series will feature six episodes and include characters from across the Star Wars prequels including Qui-Gon Jinn (with Liam Neeson returning to voice the character), Count Dooku when he was still a Jedi, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker, and yes, Ahsoka. The series debuts later this year on Disney+.

GTA Online Update Reworks a Game Mode
Rockstar Games released another weekly GTA Online update on Thursday, and with that comes a reworked game mode: The Vespucci Job. This game mode that puts a spin on The Italian Job typically focuses on the Issi Classic as players are tasked with pulling off an exemplary display of driving by navigating to certain checkpoints while avoiding opposing players, and in this "Remix" version of it, it'll feature a similar setup. However, the Issi Classic is no longer the only option for the Runners while the opposing Interceptors have a similarly expanded array of options to choose from that aren't limited only to ground vehicles.

Over the last few years, Aspyr Media has been working to bring a ton of classic Star Wars games to modern platforms, ensuring they're accessible to a new generation of gamers. Although Xbox and Disney have been able to successfully make a number of games like Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith backward compatible, Aspyr's efforts are essentially restoration projects. Most recently, the team brought Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to Nintendo Switch and has been responsible for remastering games like Star Wars: Republic Commando on PlayStation 4, a game that was never on PlayStation consoles.
