Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be a 3D platformer adventure title featuring the iconic pink character with optional local multiplayer. If you choose to play co-op, however, players can also control a Bandana Waddle Dee that wields a spear. The Waddle Dee can also do special attacks and even throw the spear at enemies from afar.

Notably, Kirby in the Forgotten Land will also feature the addition of two new copy abilities. These are the Ranger and Drill. The Ranger ability allows players to shoot star bullets at foes. On the other hand, the Drill ability lets players move underground and attack enemies from below.

Aside from the main story and adventuring, it looks as though the game also includes a hub village. By rescuing more Waddle Dees, Kirby can add more buildings for Waddle Dee Town and unlock different buildings, such as a cafe, and minigames. Furthermore, players can also use gacha machines to collect small Kirby-themed figurines.
