Underwood — the country singer propelled to fame by her 2005 "American Idol" win — appears at 8 p.m. on Aug. 21 at the Grandstand during this year's Iowa State Fair.

Underwood appeared at previous State Fairs in 2007 and 2015. More recently, the country music star performed at Des Moines' Wells Fargo Arena in 2019.
