It seemed like Malone's label is delaying the release of his next album.

Last November 2021, Post Malone teased the release of the follow-up to 2019's 'Hollywood's Bleeding' with the track 'One Right Now,' which was a joint effort with The Weekend.

Austin Richard Post, more commonly known as Post Malone, released "One Right Now"'s much-anticipated music video with The Weeknd in the same month.

While fans are expecting for the release of his next album, his Manager, Dre London, hinted that something is keeping the release away from the fans of the Grammy-nominated hitmaker.

The 'delay'

Dre London, Post Malone's manager, took a swipe on their record label for allegedly keeping the album delayed.

In his lengthy Instagram post, the manager revealed that they are already finished working on the "Circles" hitmaker's fourth upcoming studio album; but it seems that Malone's label, Republic Records and Universal Music Group, are not.

London continued his post, urging "posty fans" to not "press" them anymore as they have done their part already.

The London Music Group CEO told fans that they have "been ready like u are" as "it is time for the label to get the business right" before they release the "BIG" album they have prepared for.

Other projects and collaborations

The rapper's management has recently commented on the rapper's future release, speculating that there may be two Posty projects in the works for 2022.

When Malone released his first song off the album in November, it was widely assumed to be the album's lead single.

"One Right Now," a duet with The Weeknd, debuted in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 20 on the UK singles chart in November 2021.

Despite the delay in the album's release, Malone has continued to release songs regularly.

His collaborations with musicians like Ozzy Osbourne, Big Sean, and Ty Dolla Sign have been published throughout the last year.

Additionally, the "Sunflower" rapper replaced Travis Scott as the headlining act for the Day N Vegas Festival in November, following the catastrophic crowd crush at Scott's Astroworld Festival, which resulted in the deaths of ten people and the injuries of hundreds more.

In 2019, Malone dropped Hollywood Bleeding, which was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys.

Malone has not released a new album since that time.
