67 years on from its release, this Cary Grant/Grace Kelly vehicle remains an undisputed classic within the Master of Suspense's back catalogue, so it's a hefty risk Gadot's willing to take here.
Deadline reports Prodigal Son's Eileen Jones will write the script for Paramount Pictures, with the Israeli megastar attached as the lead.

To Catch a Thief centred on an ex-cat burglar forced out of retirement to apprehend an imposter preying on tourists in the French Riviera.
We're guessing this'll be another addition to the gender-flip movement.
In other news, her controversial Cleopatra movie project was recently teased in an interview with InStyle, as she shared: "I can't reveal a lot, but I can tell you that we're going to celebrate the Cleopatra story. We're going to show not just how sexy and appealing she was, but how strategic and smart, and how much impact she had and still has on the world we're living in today.

Forced to address accusations of whitewashing, Gadot also commented: "First of all if you want to be true to the facts then Cleopatra was Macedonian. We were looking for a Macedonian actress that could fit Cleopatra. She wasn't there, and I was very passionate about Cleopatra.
"I want to celebrate the legacy of Cleopatra and honour this amazing historic icon that I admire so much. But anybody can make this movie, and anybody can go ahead and do it. I'm very passionate that I'm going to do my own too."
