A Look at the Affordable and Flexible Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 Lens

The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD was a runaway hit for the company, using smart compromises to offer a light and portable lens with great performance and image quality at a price that significantly undercut offerings from first-party companies. The second generation of the lens brought with it a range of improvements over the already impressive original version, and this great video review takes a look at the performance and image quality you can expect from it in practice.

Coming to you from Christopher Frost. this awesome video review takes a look at the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 lens. The original version of the lens was one of the most impressive I have ever used, offering reliable performance and great image quality in a package that was significantly smaller than traditional 24-70mm f/2.8 options and, of course, much cheaper. While you might miss out on the extra reach at the wide end, given the 28-75mm f/2.8's price, you can add the 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD for a combination price that is only about as much as a first-party 24-70mm f/2.8.

Check out the video above for the full rundown from Frost on the lens.

the third party ecosystem of reasonably priced lenses is a real plus in choosing sony

The absence of stabilizer in the lens is really irrelevant as all Sony full frame are stabilized in body
