Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G gets Android 12 with One UI 4.0 update

After issuing the One UI 4.0 and Android 12 update to the Galaxy Fold, Samsung is now pushing an update to the Galaxy Fold 5G. The phones are nearly identical, save for a small difference in battery capacity.

The firmware for the Galaxy Fold 5G is F907BXXU6GULB and carries the January 2022 security patch. Naturally, it also brings One UI 4.0 along with a number of new features.

This isn't the same firmware that was seeded to the Galaxy Fold, which only included the December 2021 security patch.

So far it seems only UK-based Galaxy Fold 5G phones are getting the update, but it's worth doing a check in Settings - Software update to see if your phone has the new software waiting.
