PD Kim Tae Ho Leaving MBC This Month + In Talks To Create New Variety Show With Lee Hyori
Variety show PD (producing director) Kim Tae Ho will be parting ways with MBC this month.
In September of last year, MBC announced that Kim Tae Ho will be leaving after spending 21 years with the broadcasting network.
On January 12, MBC stated, “‘How Do You Play?‘ PD Kim Tae Ho will be leaving [MBC] on January 17. It was announced on the company bulletin board.”
Following the news, it was reported that Kim Tae Ho is preparing a new variety show with Lee Hyori. This will be his first program after leaving MBC.
In response to the news, a source of Kim Tae Ho shared, “He is discussing the production of a new program with Lee Hyori. He also has other plans for various programs.”
Lee Hyori’s agency ESteem Entertainment commented, “She was offered [to be part of a variety show] and is discussing it. Nothing has been decided yet.”
Kim Tae Ho and Lee Hyori have known each other since MBC’s variety show “Infinite Challenge.” She also made a special appearance on “How Do You Play?” when she became part of the project group SSAK3 with Yoo Jae Suk and Rain.
