Dylan is called in by a family he knows. They don't want to go to the hospital and want him to take a look at a kid's arm. Scott checks it out. He thinks Darius' arm is broken, but the mother says her husband is worried about hospital bills. But she agrees to take him anyway.

Stevie teases Will about his outfit. He leaves and a patient comes in and collapses. Stevie realizes the patient had surgery recently.

Randall brings Sharon coffee and wonders why she hasn't talked to Avery. Sharon doesn't think they should cooperate with Avery's lawsuit. She feels the lawsuit shouldn't be happening when her doctors did nothing wrong. Randall says they can't let this play out in the media.

Marcel sees a patient who collapsed and had what he thinks is a panic attack after not taking his beta blocker. Blake calls him in on Wes Tucker, a patient who is a famous athlete. He has been vomiting for a day and a half. Some guy tries to take photos on his phone. Liver doesn't look good. Blake asks how long Wes has been an alcoholic. She tells him he needs a liver transplant.

Will asks Stevie about the woman who collapsed. Stevie excuses herself to talk to Charles. The patient won't tell her where she got plastic surgery that led to sepsis. Charles agrees to talk to her.

Vanessa goes to talk to Maggie. Her other parents want Maggie to come over for dinner. Can she come tonight? Scott interrupts. He needs help with Darius. Maggie helps him into a wheelchair. The kid is nervous. Scott does his thing to develop rapport. Tyrell shows up and his wife looks upset. Tyrell doesn't understand why he can't push the wheelchair. Archer is watching. The wife tells Tyrell to stop. Archer comes over and asks if everything is okay. Scott tells him these used to be his best friends. Archer says it doesn't sound complicated. But Scott had a thing with Carmen. However, he doesn't need to be taken off the case.

Randall wants to talk to Blake and Marcel. A liver is available. However, Blake and Marcel won't do it because he tested positive for alcohol and can't have a transplant for 6 months. Randall doesn't care. He thinks that doing the transplant is good for the hospital. Marcel says it's not their rules, it's federal policy.

Charles gets only that Nadia is holding something back. Her parents show up. Charles observes. The father wants to know what happened.  He wants to talk to Stevie alone. He wants to know will she be okay and what happened. He can't help them get any info. Charles finds this odd.

Scott has X-ray results. More complicated break. It's a two bone fracture. Tyrell is suspicious and thinks they aren't really trying to help. Archer says he had his son have surgery when he had a similar injury. Tyrell agrees to the surgery. Scott reassures Carmen that Archer is the best.

Randall wants Tucker to get a living donor because it'll be good publicity. Marcel says the guy is an active alcoholic who will ruin his new liver. Sharon tries to talk some sense into Randall but he insists the doctors only are refusing because they don't know Tucker personally.

Archer finds a sarcoma in the boy's arm. He thinks it's cancer. He doesn't think they need consent to remove the tumor. Scott wants to tell the parents anyway. Archer doesn't like it but says do it fast.

Nadia is short of breath and needs to be intubated. Stevie says this makes no sense. The father says it's from silicone. He seems to know all about  the implants used. Charles realizes this isn't Nadia's father -- it's the surgeon.

Sharon says hi to a distracted Maggie, who is concerned about the dinner invitation. She doesn't know what they think of her. Sharon understand why she is nervous, but Maggie says vanessa is excited. Meanwhile, Scott got Darius' path report. The parents don't understand how Darius could have cancer. Tyrell wants a second opinion. No one is operating on Darius just because Scott says so.

Charles interviews the "father." He used to practice in Russia. He insists his surgery was good. Charles says he got the implants from a black market because he doesn't have a license. The man needs to make a call. Charles says that there is another patient who might be in trouble. Will goes to try to find the patient.

Archer is mad and says Scott has twenty minutes to change Tyrell's mind.

Meanwhile, Randall has found another doctor who is willing to be unethical going to do the surgery, and has gotten Mr. Panic Attack to be the donor. Board has approved it.

Tyrell doesn't want to talk to Scott because Scott once assisted on arresting him. He doesn't think Scott is a good friend. Scott says this isn't about that. Darius has cancer. Tyrell doesn't want to hear it but agrees to the surgery.

Will finds Alexandra. She is unresponsive. THe news is bad. She needs emergency surgery, but Stevie says driving could kill her. She thinks he needs to do surgery right there. Will doesn't think he can do this, but Stevie says it's their only option.

Marcel talks to his panic attack patient.  Shaw wants to do something meaningful with his life but he didn't realize what a big operation it is and that he could have complications. Marcel tells him he can back out. But Shaw wants Wes Tucker to have a piece of him.

Marcel talks to Blake and tells her to do the transplant because his patient needs her. Blake wishes she could. Marcel thinks she has an obligation now that the transplant is happening. She agrees to do it.

Will starts the operation. Stevie guides him. Patient starts crashing. Silicone has moved and is obstructing the pulmonary valve. She explains what he has to do. Not enough juice for another shot. Stevie tells Will to trust her.

Maggie thinks there's something going on still between Scott and Tyrell. Scott says Tyrell didn't do it for him.

Blake starts her procedure. Marcel's patient's heart rate is going down. He realizes the man took beta blockers. He's coding. They get his heart beating again and Blake thinks they might as well go on with the procedure.

Will doesn't know whether Alexandra will make it after the procedure is done. Charles comes to talk to the surgeon. The surgeon says he had to flee his country. He insists he knows what he's doing. Charles tells him what he is doing is neither legal nor safe. The cops are outside.

Scott comes to see Carmen. She thanks him. She and Scott step outside. He tells her oncology will be down tomorrow. Darius can beat this.  Tyrell shows up and wants Scott to stay away from  his family.

Sharon asks why Will is still here. He is doing the paperwork for Alexandra's case. Randall insisted on it. He said the hospital was under a microscope.

Sharon goes to talk to Avery, who wants to hold people accountable. Sharon wants their names off the lawsuit and herself held accountable instead. Avery asks if she understands the burden. Sharon does.

Stevie tells Will that Nadia is better and so is Alexandra. Will asks her to go bowling. Stevie gets served with divorce papers all of a sudden.She says her ex is dragging things out. Will offers to postpone. Stevie thinks they should.

Scott goes to the bar. Archer comes over to him and starts a conversation about Carmen. He says his son hasn't spoken to him in 15 years.

At dinner, Vanessa's mom asks about Ben and says you always do anything for your kids. She and Maggie bond over the recipe. Maggie looks like she's feeling out of place.
