Sharon Stone Joins Kaley Cuoco in THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT Season 2

Sharon Stone has joined the cast of Kaley Cuoco’s HBO Max thriller series The Flight Attendant. She is set to appear in Season 2 and have a recurring role.

Stone will take on the role of Lisa Bowden, “Cassie’s (Cuoco) estranged mother who would prefer to stay estranged. After a lifetime of dealing with Cassie’s alcoholism, she no longer has any patience or good will to spare.”

Cassie’s mom briefly appeared in one flashback scene in Season 1. That first season explored Cassie’s tragic relationship with her late father, and now the series is obviously looking to explore Cassie’s relationship, or lack thereof, with her mother. Stone seems like a perfect choice to play this character.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 “finds Cassie Bowden living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.”

The series also stars Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez, Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez, JJ Soria, T.R. Knight as Cassie’s brother and Lisa’s son, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall. Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera and Shohreh Aghdashloo are also in the series.

The Flight Attendant was created and developed by Steve Yockey, who also serves as showrunner alongside Natalie Chaidez.
