According to one rumor, Microsoft might have another massive game collection in the works. Nick Baker on the XboxEra Podcast shared that another franchise under the Xbox umbrella might be getting the "Halo: Master Chief Collection" treatment, possibly as soon as this year. For those unfamiliar, the "Halo: Master Chief Collection" put the first four "Halo" games into a single release, with multiplayer matchmaking for all of the games. The game had a rocky update, but was worked on for years, and eventually saw "Halo 3: ODST" and "Halo: Reach" added to the collection, with working multiplayer. While Baker didn't have too much to say, he confirmed that the next series to get the collection treatment would be "Gears of War." He said it could possibly launch this year, but it did not seem set in stone. This is just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt, but the prospect is exciting.
