NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-With the temporary closure of the North Platte Pizza Hut location, the owners of Godfather's Pizza want to encourage kids to keep reading with a free pizza.

Starting in 1984, the Pizza Hut Book It program has been giving Pre-K through sixth-graders incentives to read by offering a free personal pan pizza after students accomplish the program's reading goals.

With the temporary closure of Pizza Hut, which will be reopening in a new location, area students were unable to redeem their Book It coupons.

As a result, Godfather's Pizza will be honoring Book It coupons by offering students a free one-topping mini pizza. This offer is only good at the North Platte location.
