Developer Rocket Vulture is cooking up an excellent dish for their new and old fans of Cannibal Cuisine. A free expansion in the name of The Curse of the Scarab King will see new features and levels for players to dive into. This includes different enemies to face and fresh recipes to make when the content arrives later this month, on January 25. In addition to the expansion, Cannibal Cuisine will be coming to Xbox and PlayStation platforms as well.
Cookin’ Up Some Violence and Food in Cannibal Cuisine: The Curse of the Scarab King
Cannibal Cuisine takes the concept of Overcooked and stuffs it with combat and platforming. Up to four players can assemble to take down their surrounding enemies, who just so happen to be innocent tourists. But the god Hoochooboo is hungry, demanding meals from you and/or your team. Therefore, you’re going to have to cook ’em up – in good ole cannibal fashion.
Now, with The Curse of the Scarab King, players will go up against the titular villain with an army of mummies. Coupled with five new levels to explore, the expansion will bring along new cosmetics and switchable bridges that add a new layer of gameplay. You can check out the PS & XBOX Release Date Reveal Trailer right here to see more of what the content will introduce.
It’s very exciting to be releasing Cannibal Cuisine on Xbox and PlayStation, bringing a whole new collection of chefs into the action on these great platforms. We’re also looking forward to seeing how fans new and old enjoy our free expansion: The Curse of the Scarab King!”
