While stress is known to cause wrinkles, and Jennifer Garner recently found herself in the midst of drama after her ex-husband bashed their marriage, it's safe to say the 13 Going on 30 actress is still glowing at age 49.
Garner posted a rare mirror selfie on Monday, January 10, before washing off her makeup for the night.
With her hair pulled back and a fuzzy headband with bear ears on her head to protect her brown locks from getting wet, she wrote alongside the Instagram Story photo: "When you don’t know about mirror selfies but @karayoshimotobua makeup is so nice you hate to wash it off."
Garner, who was dressed in LAKE's scarlet-and-white striped Poplin Piped Pants Set, retailing for $136, also felt encouraged to share her unlikely snap because of her charming bear-inspired headband.
While Garner often shares adorable and hilarious videos of dogs, children and anything else she finds amusing, she rarely offers her 11.8 million Instagram followers a glimpse into her personal life.

Meanwhile, her personal life was recently put on full display after ex Ben Affleck — with whom she shares children Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 9 — slammed their previous marriage last month. The coparents tied the knot in 2004 and announced their separation in 2015, with their divorce being finalized three years later.
As OK! reported, the Justice League star insisted he, "would probably still be drinking," if the former Hollywood couple hadn't called it quits on their marriage. "I was like, 'I can’t leave because of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?'" Affleck spilled on The Howard Stern Show on December 14. "And what I did was [I] drank a bottle of scotch and fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution."
After the Gone Girl star claimed he was "trapped" and seemingly blamed his ex for his struggles with alcoholism and addiction, an insider pointed out Garner was "not happy" with his remarks, given that she's helped him through his substance abuse issues, and the two have a healthy coparenting relationship.
However, the father-of-three was quick to clarify on his past statements, with him appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! — with girlfriend Jennifer Lopez by his side — one day later to point out he was shocked by the backlash he received for his controversial interview.
"I had gone on and said how much we respect each other and cared about each other and cared about our kids and put them first," the actor explained of what he previously said, before pointing out the part of the interview that gained traction, "just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid awful guy."
Luckily, the drama appears to be water under the bridge, as OK! learned Garner and Affleck planned to spend the holidays together as a blended family, along with The Town star's girlfriend and her kiddos.
