Kourtney Kardashian often lets us in on her family life. After all, the mother-of-three knows all to well what it means to have a close-knit unit given she's the eldest sibling of the Kardashian family.

In keeping with her strong family values, the 42-year-old is now using her fame and social media following to help struggling families who've been kept apart, through the nonprofit organisation This Is About Humanity. The organisation, which has partnered with the charity Healthy Baby, aims to reunite families that have been split up.

The Poosh founder shared a video clip on her Instagram Story earlier this week in which she explains the organisation's ethos.

'My wish for 2022 is for families to be together,' she said. 'Healthy Baby is a new organisation that is run by mums and they have the first and only EWG-verified diaper.'

A product verified by the EWG (Environmental Working Group) - a group of indivduals working to promote healthier agriculture and safer chemicals in the US - means it meets strict ingredient safety and transparency requirements for consumers.

Kardashian, who co-parents her three children Mason, 12, Penelope, nine and Reign, seven, with her ex-partner Scott Disick, explained: 'Any purchase made for the month of January on HealthyBaby.com will be matched and given to a family in need through This Is About Humanity.'

The reality star, who's also set to be a stepmother to fiancé Travis Barker's grown-up children, Atiana, 22, Landon, 18 and Alabama, 16, after the pair marry, has stood behind other important causes in the past.

In 2018 she fought for better personal care and improved health and safety standards, in collaboration with EWG, targeting issues such as harm to the reproductive system of both men and women and chemicals linking to cancer, as stated on the organisation's website.

While she is regularly spotted with her kids, two of whom were born on the same day and recently celebrated their birthday together, it hasn't stop trolls from insinuating that the eldest Kardashian sibling doesn't spend time with her brood.

After Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram showing herself and her children on a recent holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, one commenter wrote on the post: 'Oh wow you're with your kids finally???? [sic]'

Kardashian replied: 'I'm with my kids every day thank God, social media isn't always real life. [sic]'

The reality star and Blink-182 drummer Barker, who proposed to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star on a rose-decorated beach in October 2021, reportedly want to extend their family.

A source told E! in October last year that the couple are 'hoping to be expecting by next year'.

The Kardashian and Jenner families are also rumoured to be looking forward to an 'intimate' wedding from the pair, if recent reports are anything to go by.

While it was previously reported that Kardashian was planning to throw a lavish wedding, according the E!, she and Barker are believed to want the opposite of a huge ceremony, instead preferring their nuptials to be said in front of close family and friends.

The star is even believed to have commenced wedding planning already, with the help of her other Kris Jenner and event planner Mindy Weiss.

As for the entire Kardashian-Jenner family, we can expect to see them back on our screens in their new Hulu series The Kardashians.
