Concept Art For RESIDENT EVIL WELCOME TO RACCOON CITY Reveals Unused Monsters

The live action movie Resident Evil Welcome To Raccoon City was based on the plot of the first two Resident Evil games. While there was a lot to pull from, the movie was a fun B movie but could have been so much better. New concept art by Daniel Carrasco reveals some monsters that would have really added some terror to the movie.

Most notably it looks like there was a concept for Mr. X who I think personally would have made a great addition to the movie. It looks like there were also possible plans for hunters or lurkers to appear as well as zombie spiders.

For Resident Evil, the crazy number of zombified animals and monsters are a staple for the franchise, so when not many showed up in the movie it was a bit disappointing. If we had focused on just one game’s plot then these are monsters that would have had plenty of time to shine and based on the concept art for them, they would have been great.

Other concept art included are variant designs for Lisa Trevor and other zombies. It’s all pretty cool and you can check it out below.
