Stray Kids Bang Chan Expresses His Respect for BTS and Calls Them Legends for 'Paving the Way'

Back on January 8, Stray Kids member and leader Bang Chan took to the popular live streaming platform, Naver's V LIVE, to hold a live broadcast called "Chan's Room" and have a chat with the group's fans, collectively known as STAY.

During his live broadcast, Bang Chan played one of BTS' popular songs "Mikrokosmos," which is part of the latter's sixth mini-album "Map of the Soul: Persona," released back in April 2019.

While playing and listening to the song with his fans, he praised "Mikrokosmos" and called it "such a good song."

"'Mikrokosmos is such a good song. I really love this song," Bang Chan said.

Hearing this song, numerous Stray Kids fans also flooded the comment section with purple hearts, a representative color and what eventually became a symbol for BTS.

After noticing the onslaught of purple hearts, Bang Chan noticed this and commented how he loves the purple hearts and that "it's nice."

A few moments later, Bang Chan talked about his industry sunbaes (seniors), and shared what he thought about the seven-member boy group.

"Yeah. I mean, the members of BTS are legends," the Stray Kids leader said.

He continued to praise the group, saying, "I think they paved the way. You have to admit it, that they paved the way."

He went on to say that he has "mad respect to BTS," and that the group is amazing.

This isn't the first time that Bang Chan has shown his love for the "Butter" singers.

Back in 2019 and 2020, Bang Chan had praised Jimin and Jungkook for their vocals while listening to their solo tracks, "Promise" and "Euphoria," respectively.

Over the years, he has also shared with fans the BTS songs that he had been listening to, such as BTS' leader RM's solo song, "seoul," to which Bang Chan confessed to having cried to after being overwhelmed with emotions while listening to the song.

It seems that listening to "Mikrokosmos" is another ARMY moment of Bang Chan!

Stray Kids Announce Fan Meeting 'SKZ'S Chocolate Factory'

Back on January 7, Stray Kids announced their second #LoveSTAY fan meeting titled "SKZ's Chocolate Factory," which will be held a few days before Valentine's Day.

According to the announcement, the fan meeting will both be offline and online, with the offline fan meeting taking place on February 12 at 6pm KST at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.

While the online fan meeting will be held on February 13 at 5 pm KST through Beyond Live.

This marks the group's first fan meeting in a year, following their "#LoveSTAY SKZ-X" fan meeting back in February 2021.
