The latest concept art from Spider-Man: No Way Home showcases Peter Parker's battle with Norman Osborn in Happy's apartment building, with the wall-crawler finding himself at the Green Goblin's mercy.

Spider-Man: No Way Home presented the MCU's Peter Parker with his greatest challenge yet in the form of a sinister quintet of villains. However, the Green Goblin quickly singled himself out as the wall-crawler's scariest new foe and pushed Spidey to his limits during that brutal apartment battle.

Despite battling Captain America and Thanos, Peter found himself outmatched by Norman Osborn, and the sight of the deranged villain laughing as Spider-Man pummelled him won't soon be forgotten.

In this new concept art from Spider-Man: No Way Home, we get a closer look at how the fight was dreamt up courtesy of artist Marek Okon. The hero, in his Iron Spider suit at this point, is decimated by the Green Goblin, finding himself completely defeated and at Norman's mercy when all is said and done.

We know Marvel Studios' visual development team contributed to the threequel, but they've yet to share any artwork. Hopefully, that's still to come, because we'd love to see the work that went into reimaging the appearance of these villains (not to mention Spider-Man's "Integrated suit). No "Art of" book has been announced as of yet, but fingers crossed one is eventually released.

You know what's screwed up? Happy doesn't even remember why his apartment got destroyed. Lool

@KWilly - he probably still knows, everyone forgot Peter, they didn't forget Spiderman.

So his apartment for the same reason he just doesn't know who spiderman is

@KWilly - All things considered, I'm pretty sure nobody in the MCU is more confused than Happy Hogan

@dracula - this, the spell was just people to forget that Peter is Spider-Man only.

@OmegaDaGrodd - maybe all of his memories of Peter Parker are replaced by Spider-Man.

Even then, that must be really confusing

@dracula - yeah I don't know why people are assuming he doesn't know anything. He even says he knows Spiderman and that he specifically knew May through Spiderman. Don't get me wrong, a LOT about this spell doesn't make sense, but we know enough that the state of Happy is well established.

Wonder why Tobey's Venom wasnt pulled in or Andrew's Harry

@dracula - The whole thing with Tom Hardy's Venom being likely one of the factors and they wanted the tease of a part of the symbiote remaining behind once Tom's Eddie left. And they probably wanted the best Goblin. But it sure would have been cool to see Dane DeHaan's Harry show up and play against DaFoe's Norman.

But personally if they introduced Topher Grace's Venom he could've defeated all the Peters since none of them can sense him coming. Or at least it would've been another difficult challenge.

@dracula - In story Dr. Strange shut the spell down in time. A few people slipped through but not all the people who could have potentially slipped through. In real life they just stuck with their current version of the character.

If they do a concept art book for this movie, I may have to buy it, cuz the artwork I've seen shared for this film had been nothing short of spectacular.

Since they probably wont do mcu versions of the characters who showed up here, (except Venom), would be cool to see another group of villains, mostly made up of the while iconic villains, arent really ones that could support a movie on their own

Kraven, Scorpion, Rhino, Shocker, Chameleon

This fight was awesome. I honestly forgot he was enhanced until he started tossing Peter around the hallway like a rag doll and then it was just brutal after that. The exact level of tragedy and spectacle I expect from Spiderman fights and story

There must've been a deleted scene from the 2002 movie that showed Norman at the same wrestling tournament that Peter went to, because he was pulling some WWE shit during that apartment fight.

I know, right?! Maskless Goby punching Peter through whole roofs felt like a stage transition cutscene straight out of the first Injustice game.

That first Injustice along with the excellent MK9 are the absolute best games Netherrealm Studios have made thus far.

I haven’t seen Spider-Man 1 in a long time and I remember the “impressive” scene goblin vs Tobey spider but was green goblin stronger in this one?

If there’s one thing the Green Goblin loves it’s kicking the living crap out of Spider-Man. What an ass whooping 😬😮‍💨

Such a brutal and unreal character matchup fight scene. After complaining about Soidey not throwing any punches in these movies this scene was a dream come true. Willem is so damn good in this.

This was the turning point in the movie where it went from good to fantastic. Goblin was my favorite part of the movie.
