Georgia football has been on ESPN GameDay’s analyst Lee Corso’s radar all season long, and when he put the Dawg headgear on, he has gone 4-0.

The GameDay legend even went as far as to predict earlier in the season that Alabama would win the SEC Championship Game and the Dawgs would get the national championship win, which is eerie when you think about it.

Joining coach on that pick is former Bulldog David Pollack who made the exact prediction in Week 0 of the season. Talk about eerie, and fascinating especially if the Dawgs win.

So many have predicted this game, and while some have gone with the Tide, others chose the Dawgs. None of these picks make us feel any better, but when Corso put on that headgear, it should make the entire fanbase happy.

Georgia football fans should consider Lee Corso picking the Dawgs a good sign.

Any time Corso picked the Dawgs this year, they won, so him putting on that headgear for the biggest game of the season has us excited. Corso may be getting older, but he knows his football, and to hold a 13-5 record this year before the national championship should tell you to trust him.

Throughout the show on Monday, Corso hinted at both sides, but thankfully he made the right choice and chose the Dawgs.

Desmond Howard picked the Dawgs, and then Pollack picked Georgia. Then it was all on Corso to make his choice. He made his argument about Alabama’s playmakers trying to throw off everyone, but then put the Hairy Dawg headgear on and brought Uga out for the big announcement as Corso picked the Dawgs.

The pick was evident, especially after talking all season about how Georgia would finally win it, so it’s incredible they all decided to go with the Dawgs to get revenge and end the drought.

Can Corso go 5-0 when picking the Dawgs this year? He only picks them when he truly feels like it can happen, so this could be the sign Dawg nation needed. Now it’s up to the fans to be loud and help out this defense.

Next. Final thoughts on Georgia football and College Football Championship Game. dark

While we all usually associate Corso picking the Dawgs as the worst thing, it has been different this year. Hopefully, he will finish undefeated when choosing the Dawgs, and Georgia will host the College Football Playoff trophy in the air after four quarters of battling it out.
