Coronation Street policeman Craig Tinker gets one step closer to the truth about Ted's death next week.
Craig (Colson Smith) and his police colleagues have recently been investigating the demise of Ted, who passed away shortly after being knocked over by Faye Windass.
After the road accident, Faye (Ellie Leach) and Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) accompanied Ted to his flat to make sure that he was okay.
Ted seemed fine at the time, but when the friends returned later on, he had died in his chair at the flat.

Next week, a crucial clue continues to cause trouble for Faye and Emma.
Craig is recovering after spraining his ankle during a run and has found himself in possession of Ted's crutch, due to the girls failing to dispose of it.
In the upcoming scenes, a bored Craig makes a £20 bet with Tyrone (Alan Halsall) that he can track down the original owner of the crutch.
Faye's heart sinks as it becomes increasingly clear that her boyfriend isn't going to let this go.

Upping the ante, Craig later reveals that he has had the crutch sent to the lab so that it can be checked over for fingerprints. Faye and Emma fear that it's only a matter of time before they get caught out.
Later in the week, Craig lets Roy Cropper (David Neilson) know about the crutch and mentions the initials on it – THS.

Roy suggests that the crutch might belong to Trafford Health Services.

Emma masks her panic as she knows that Craig is getting dangerously close to the truth. What does the future hold for her and Faye?
