The launch of the new OnePlus 10 Pro flagship smartphone is almost upon us. Despite this, the OEM has released a last-minute teaser showcasing what the device's new "LTP0 2.0" display can do. It seems to confirm that it can adapt its refresh rate better than ever before.

OnePlus has already confirmed that its upcoming 10 Pro flagship will launch with the latest LTPO 2.0 technology. It is rated to allow the display to go up to 120Hz and right down to 1Hz depending on its contents. Now, the brand has showcased these abilities in a new YouTube clip ahead of its imminent formal debut.

The video pits the 10 Pro against 2 additional, similarly-sized prototypes, portrayed as having a different type of LTPO (A and B) each. It proceeds to demonstrate that the middle smartphone appears to be able to achieve a target refresh rate (120Hz included) faster than the others, which could only go down to 10Hz at best.

The 10 Pro also apparently exhibits the ability to refresh at 1Hz when the display's contents are static. This feature, according to Pete Lau, will be unveiled as "global adaptive 120Hz" (or something like it) on the 10 Pro's debut. This is still set for tomorrow (January 11, 2021) at 07:00 CET.
