Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sets itself apart from other cities in the franchise because it’s dripping in Hollywood lore. The rotating cast of characters includes the movers and shakers of Los Angeles, plenty of them with ties in the movies business, the music industry, and other major aspects of a celebrity-ridden town. Even as new faces join the franchise, they always seem to have the commonality of wealth, power, and secrecy. It comes with the locale, and I’ll never not find it fascinating.
We’re gearing up (if you can believe it) for what’s sure to be another drama-packed season of RHOBH. The same cast from last season will be returning, as the Erika Jayne tragedy continues. But this time, Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff won’t be the newbies anymore as some new faces will be thrown into the mix. And, after some behind-the-scenes turmoil, Kathy Hilton will be back as the goofiest Friend Of in Real Housewives history.
Thankfully, Garcelle Beauvais is also headed back for a third season, ready to teach her phony co-stars a thing or two about reality vs. acting. Garcelle is my girl. She’s the Denise Richards defender and won’t let Lisa Rinna bully anyone and get away with it. Plus, she and her side-kick Sutty Butty are the only ones not blindly loyal to the mess of Miss Erika. Oh, and don’t let me forget Garcelle’s hilarious dunks on Teddi Mellencamp last year. We have no choice but to Stan.

Garcelle epitomizes everything I love about RHOBH. She has a rich history in Hollywood, with A-list friends and former flames to prove it. And that might attract a few new well-known Hollywood mainstays to appear on the show in the future. No, not Kris Jenner (yet), but the fiery personality of Carmen Electra.
In an Instagram exchange captured by @commentsbybravo, a fan shared a few side-by-side photos of Garcelle and Carmen from back in the day. The caption read, “Wait, Carmen Electra joining #RHOBH as Garcelle’s friend would be very interesting.” And in a surprising turn of events, Carmen responded to the idea. She wrote that it “would be funnnn” to join the show. I need Andy Cohen and a camera, let’s make it happen.
