Comedian Bob Saget was found lying on his bed at an Orlando hotel room Sunday afternoon, unresponsive but without any signs of foul play or trauma, according to an incident report released Monday.

Saget, who rose to fame on the hit TV show “Full House,” was pronounced dead inside his room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando. A cause of death is yet to be determined by the District Nine Medical Examiner’s Office.

Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany in a statement said an autopsy was performed on Saget’s body Monday morning.

“At this time, there is no evidence of drug use or foul play,” Stephany said, echoing a statement released Sunday by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. “The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete.”

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, the 65-year-old actor and comedian’s room was found “orderly with items owned by Mr. Saget on the nightstand, television stand, closet and bathroom.”

“Mr. Saget was found in a supine position on his bed,” the report said. “His left arm was across his chest while his right arm was resting on the bed. No signs of trauma were seen.”

Saget was due to check out of the room and his family had been unable to reach him, the report said, so they contacted hotel security. A security staffer knocked on the door to check on his well-being but no one answered.

The security worker entered the room, finding the lights off and Saget in his bed, not breathing, according to the report. Finding no pulse, hotel security called 911, the OCSO report said.

The Sheriff’s Office on Monday also released a recording of the 911 call.

“What’s going on there?” a dispatcher asked.

“We have an unresponsive guest in the room,” the caller said. “My officer is telling me that he — that there is no pulse.”

Hotel management later contacted Saget’s wife, Kelly Rizzo, to inform her of his passing, the report said.

Deputies responded to the comedian’s hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes on Central Florida Parkway about 4 p.m. Sunday. OCSO has said there was no indication of drug use.

The beloved comedian’s death has been mourned by countless friends, fans, former co-stars and other members of the entertainment industry since news of his passing was first reported Sunday night.

Saget was on a tour of Florida cities with his stand-up comedy act. He performed Friday night at Hard Rock Live at Orlando’s Universal CityWalk and then at a show Saturday night in north Florida.

After his last performance on Saturday night in Ponte Vedra Beach, he tweeted at 3:42 a.m. Sunday to thank the “[a]ppreciative audience” and marveled that his set had unexpectedly lasted two hours.

In a Facebook post about his performance Friday in Orlando, he shared a photo of himself on stage.

“A perfect first show of 2022!! That was the fastest Hour and 45 minutes I’ve ever lived through. Excluding surgery,” he wrote. “So great to make people laugh and have a good time.”
