Cedar Creek head football coach, Matt Middleton, is set to leave his current position for a offensive coordinator/quarterback coach position at Southern Arkansas.
Middleton led the Cougars football team for the 2021 season, leading them to a 6-4 finish.
He held head coaching roles at Prairie View Academy, and West Ouachita.
Middleton joins a Mulerider staff that’s re-tooling. New head coach Brad Smiley replaces Mike McCarthy, who resigned in November.
