Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is the latest and greatest from Samsung. It has all of the top-notch specs that you’d expect from Samsung, including a 6.8-inch QHD+ 120Hz adaptive AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage on-board. It’s also at a pretty good price of $1,199.

Samsung offers the Galaxy S23 Ultra in a bunch of colors, and if you buy from Samsung’s website, you’ll get four more colors to choose from. Samsung is also promising 4 years of updates here. And given how good Samsung has gotten at updates lately, that’s quite impressive.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

For many, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is going to be the best foldable available. That’s because of the larger cover display, and then it opens up to be almost a tablet-sized display.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a 6.2-inch cover display, which unfolds to reveal a 7.6-inch main display. It’s a larger, and almost square display that works really well for those that like to take notes with the S Pen. It also has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage inside. There’s a 4400mAh capacity battery inside, which is somewhat small by today’s standards.

Fold 4 is really great because it allows you to do a lot more on your phone, and really be productive while you are out and about. Which is really nice.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

With the new Samsung foldables now out, our pick for the best foldable smartphone is the Galaxy Z Flip 4. We feel that it is a better option for most people because of the price and the size.

Essentially, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a 6.7-inch phone that folds in half. Making it great for those with smaller pockets. It sports the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery did get upgraded this year, and is now a 3700mAh battery. Which does provide some really great battery life, as we found in our review.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is mostly the same as any other smartphone, but now it folds in half. Which is really cool.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is the latest smartphone from the company. It’s the “Fan Edition” of the Galaxy S21 that was released last year. It sits in a relatively odd position in Samsung’s portfolio. That’s because it is very similar to the smaller Galaxy S21, but a bit worse in some areas. However, it’s barely cheaper than the regular Galaxy S21.

The S21 FE has a 6.4-inch FHD+ 120Hz display (it’s not adaptive though). It also has the Snapdragon 888 5G processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. There is also a model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as well. It boasts a 4500mAh capacity battery too.

The Galaxy A52s 5G was announced back in September of 2021, as a successor for the Galaxy A52. Which was one of the most popular smartphones that Samsung ever made.

It sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, along with the Snapdragon 778 5G processor, with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It also has a massive 64-megapixel sensor for the camera. So you’re going to get some really good pictures out of this phone. And it’s all powered by the 4500mAh capacity battery.

The Galaxy A32 5G is one of the more affordable smartphones on the market today. It comes in under $300 – and you can probably find it on sale for under $200.

This smartphone boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ display, along with the MediaTek MT6853 Dimensity 720 5G processor inside. Which is pretty rare for a Samsung smartphone, they typically use Qualcomm or their own Exynos chipsets. It also sports up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

Like most other smartphones in this price range, it does also have a massive battery. Coming in at 5000mAh capacity, which should last a few days.

Samsung Galaxy S23+

The Galaxy S23+ is the weird middle child in the Galaxy S23 lineup. But if you’re looking for a big phone, with a smaller price tag, then the Plus is a great option. The Galaxy S23+ has a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz Adaptive AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a pretty hefty 4700mAh capacity battery inside, which is quite good for the size.

Like the regular Galaxy S23, it is also promised to get 4 years of software updates. Samsung has been really good with updates as of late, so you’ll likely get them pretty quick too.

Samsung Galaxy A42 5G

The Galaxy A42 5G is a bit older than most of the other phones on this list, coming out in late 2020. And the design definitely indicates that. But this prism design on the back is pretty neat.

It boasts a 6.6-inch HD+ display, the Snapdragon 750 5G processor, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (across all variants). There is also a pretty massive 5000mAh capacity battery that should keep it running for a couple of days on a single charge.

Samsung Galaxy S23

Those looking for a small-ish phone, the Galaxy S23 is the one to get. It’s towards the bottom of this list, because it is the smaller one, and most will want the Ultra. But it’s still a good phone to pick up. It does sport a pretty nice 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz Adaptive AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on-board. This year, it does sport a larger battery than before, with a 3700mAh capacity battery inside.

Like with the other Galaxy S23 models, this one also gets four years of promised updates. That means that the Galaxy S23 is going to get at least to Android 17. Which is impressive.
