Emmerdale's Meena Jutla confirms plan to kill Vinny Dingle

Meena Jutla has revealed her horrific plan to kill Vinny Dingle in Emmerdale.

The serial killer is plotting her next moves after trapping both Vinny and her own sister Manpreet Sharma in the barn after they both figured out she killed Ben.

Monday's episode saw Meena trying to keep one step ahead of suspicion by using Vinny's phone to send Mandy a reassuring text that there's no need to worry about his absence from the village.

In the barn, a weakened Manpreet explained to Vinny all about how her sister was slowly drugging her — but, in spite of his own terror, he promised they'd both get out alive.

Vinny remembered he had his house keys in his pocket and kicked them over to Manpreet just before Meena returned with an IV and a huge amount of alcohol.

"You're gonna have a drink. A nice, long drink," she threatened Vinny. "Tomorrow, you'll be found in your van, at the wheel. And you'll have crashed it because you were driving drunk and had a calamitous accident!

"At least that's what the coroner's report will say."

Meanwhile, Liam Cavanagh has also started suspecting Meena of lying, after a call to a colleague raised red flags about her supposed miscarriage not being detected in recent medical tests.

Wendy noticed Liam was bothered after the call, but he chose to keep his findings to himself for now.

Viewers will remember that Meena lured Liam into a trap before Christmas — will she use it to her advantage should Liam figure out what she's up to?
