Excitement builds for the launch of Elden Ring next month, and now the game’s character creation menu appears to have leaked via a recent network test.

The footage was uploaded by YouTube user ER-SA over the weekend and spotted by Video Games Chronicle. Though many of the options are blank and incomplete, it gives us a good idea of Tarnished customisation options. The footage is claimed to have been captured during a recent network test. However, that test only let players pick from five pre-set looks. The video’s creator doesn’t disclose how they were able to access the rest of the menu.

Either way, it looks like you’ll have plenty of options to choose from in Elden Ring‘s character creator at launch. These include pre-sets and a host of body types, races and hairstyles. Realism isn’t a stringent requirement either. For example, we can see players will have the ability to stretch and warp features. There’s even an RGB slider to change your skin tone to colours like purple or green, why not?

At the time of writing, neither Bandai Namco nor FromSoftware have commented on the leak. It’s important to note that a lot may have changed since, and it may change again before launch. Presumably, we’ll find out when Elden Ring lands on February 25 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.

FromSoftware’s been the unfortunate victim of a few leaks this weekend, following the news that a survey has potentially given away the existence of a new Armored Core title.
