Gaudette experienced COVID-19 like symptoms that prevented him from practicing Monday, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Gaudette tested negative for COVID-19 and is considered day-to-day for Thursday's contest with Calgary. The 25-year-old has appeared in two NHL contests since being claimed by Ottawa off waivers on Nov. 27.
