Former NCIS star Pauley Perrette has posted a touching tribute after her close friend and fashion designer Terri King sadly passed away.

King was known as a designer for rock stars and goth communities, having worked with the actress on multiple outfits.

"So sad to hear of the passing of our beloved @TheTerriKing," she tweeted alongside a series of photos. "Designer to the Rock Stars (and me). Her beautiful, bright light is unmatched. She was here to spread kindness and good. These are my Grammy and Peoples Choice Awards dresses she made."

The outfits Perrette showed off included a lime green dress with music notes on the front, and a longer white dress with the 'NO H8' logo emblazoned, which was an equal marriage and anti-homophobia campaign during 2009 and the beginning of the 2010s.

After starring as Abby Sciuto in NCIS between 2003 and 2018, Perrette announced in 2020 that she had decided to retire from acting and more recently dyed her hair in rainbow colours.

Perrette explained that she was taking the opportunity to experiment given that this was the first time in four decades she was not under a TV or modelling contract and is intending to spend her retirement with her animals.

NCIS is currently airing its 19th season, which is the first without former lead star Mark Harmon. The latest episode featured a reference to his character, Leory Jethro Gibbs, as McGee (Sean Murray) and Palmer (Brian Dietzen) found out that he had transferred them a large sum of money each in order to help pay for their respective children's college scholarship funds.

NCIS airs on CBS in the US, all seasons are coming to Disney+ in the UK this year.
