WHITPAIN —  Montgomery County Community College is now accepting enrollment for Windows server courses.

The Windows server courses offered at Montgomery County Community College provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform day-to-day administrative tasks in a single or multiple domain Microsoft Windows Server 2019 based network.  Students will learn how to implement system security, create users, establish network printing, backup system data and manage system resources.  This course will also include topics on installation, configuration and troubleshooting in a Microsoft Windows Server 2019 environment.

The entire Student Experience will be carried out using Virtualized Windows Servers and Windows   Clients.  All Servers will be running Windows Server 2019 and the Clients will be running Windows 10 and Windows 11.  Every student will have the ability to access our System Center Virtual Machine Manager remotely from off campus in order to work on their individual Virtual Machines set up in a localized Cloud environment.

Registration should be completed prior to Jan 11, 2022.  Individuals from Business and Industry should first register as a “Guest” at Montco and then sign up for the course.  Go to www.mc3.edu, Admissions, Guest Students.  These courses cover the span of 15 weeks, meeting once a week mostly online.
