Drove and Citadelle both joined STMPD RCRDS‘ deep roster within a month’s time of each other—delivering Dusk and “Alive,” respectively—and exactly one year later, the trio and duo have now formally come together. It would only be soon after their label entries that the two sides would go on to make contact, deciding to partner up and collectively lengthen their still blossoming musical timeline with the release of “Through It All.”

Although Drove and Citadelle haven’t been around for long, their sounds have remained readily pronounced through the airy production flavor that they’ve put forth so far. And “Through It All” had been predicated on the communal character that the two have shown, with Drove and Citadelle exchanging ideas virtually before joining in real life at STMPD RCRDS’ Amsterdam headquarters to wrap up their collaboration. “Through It All” gives a taste of melodic house to STMPD RCRDS’ genre record as the five-headed cooperative seamlessly meets their sounds in the middle to set a high bar for label appearances in 2022.
