The Modern Family cast have a reputation for being just as funny off screen as they are on TV, and they're back at it again - this time trolling each other on Instagram.
We've seen the show's cast pulling a number of pranks on one another before, and actors Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet (who play Mitch and Cam) are two pretty regular culprits.
While we've followed Mitch and Cam through their heartwarming love story across 11 seasons of Modern Family, these two famously have a hilarious friendship IRL too. Now, to fans' delight, their latest trolling of one another has played out publicly on Instagram for all to enjoy. You're welcome.
Taking to Insta to share a throwback photo of his younger self, Jesse wrote, "took this pic right before the pandemic. It’s been a long two years…."
Eric was then quick to spot an opportunity for a joke, following up with a Photoshopped version of Jesse's pic on his own Instagram account, complete with plenty of grey hair and wrinkles, obviously.
Trolling Jesse in the caption, Eric wrote, "Miss you @jessetyler," while Jesse hilariously responded simply, "fake news".

The pair's followers, of course, loved Jesse and Eric's interaction, with one commenting, "This is why we pay for Internet 😂".
Meanwhile, it wasn't just fans who found the moment hilarious, with actress Octavia Spencer even commenting a string of laughing emojis under Eric's pic.
