Fully vaccinated a boosted New York City Congresswoman Sandy Cortez has tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from a vacation to Florida with her boyfriend, staffers reported on Sunday.

“Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19. She is experiencing symptoms and recovering at home,” the statement said. “The Congresswoman received her booster shot this fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.”

AOC was criticized by millions over New Year’s break for photos of herself maskless in a crowd of drag queens at a Miami gay bar.
