Perry T. “The Mayor” Stack, of East Providence, Dies at 62

Perry T. “The Mayor” Stack, 62, of East Providence, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital.

He was the husband of Dawn M. (Livingstone) Stack, they were together for the last 33 years and married for the last 31 years.

He was born in Attleboro the son of Marilyn (Upham) Grange of North Providence and the late Joseph D. Stack.

Perry “The Mayor” was a furniture delivery man for the In and Out Delivery Service for over 25 years.

Perry with a “P’ has lived in East Providence for over 30 years coming from Pawtucket. He loved all New England Sports teams, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, and he also enjoyed NASCAR.

The mayor enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his wife and mother, Perry is survived by his three sons Paul Stack and his fiancé Casey of North Attleboro, Joshua Stack of Central Falls, and Jacob Stack and Brittany of East Providence. He was the brother of Kelly Beaudry-Seguin and her husband Bruce of Riverside, and his “Brother” Robert “Bobby” Haggstrom of Riverside. Perry was the grandfather of three granddaughters Carter, Riley, and Blair.

His funeral service will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 6:30 pm in the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm.
